Get ready for Field Day and Beard Auction, two of our biggest events of the year!
On Saturday, November 5th, we will meet at a field in Miyoshi to play games and sports.
Afterwards, we will have a beard auction at a cabin nearby in order to raise money to buy Christmas presents for children living in child welfare centers (CWCs). In December, we will hold Christmas parties for the children at CWCs and pass out the presents.
We have created a Facebook event page for these two events. We have decided to reserve a cabin for people to stay at overnight. However, space is limited, so spots will be given on a first-come-first-served basis. There are still details of the day that have not been decided yet, such as the activities for Field Day, start and end time, and the cost to help cover the rental fee of the athletic field. This will depend on participants’ answers to our Google Form, so please try to fill it out by Saturday, October 22nd so we can finalize plans!
